W. EUGENE HOLLON
(1913-2002)

WILLIAM EUGENE HOLLON, a founder and former president of the Western History Association (1965-1966) passed away peacefully at home on 19 May 2002 in Gilmer, Texas. A respected authority on the trans-Mississippi West-author of six books, two of which are included in the White House Library on Americana, and more than seventy articles- he would have been eighty-nine years old in ten days. . . .
