CONTRIBUTORS


ANN HETZEL GUNKEL is Director of Cultural Studies at Columbia College Chicago. Associate Professor of Cultural Studies and Humanities, she teaches and researches in postmodern theory, urban cultural studies, critical media studies and Polish American studies.

 
GRAZYNA KOZACZKA, a native of Kraków, Poland, earned her doctorate at the Jagiellonian University. Her dissertation on the "American Dream" in the texts by William Dean howells and John Cheever was published there in 1993. Her research interests include ethnic American literature and women's literature. Her most recent article dealing with the unpublished novel of W.S. Kuniczak appeared in The Polish Review. She is a Professor of English at Cazenovia College (NY).

 
MARK KULIKOWSKI is Associate Professor of History at the State University of New York, Oswego. He is a recognized authority on East European bibliography.

 
MICHAEL T. URBANSKI is a recent graduate from Central Connecticut State University with a Master of Arts in History. He plans to pursue further studies in immigration history.
