Sean Cadigan is Professor of History, Memorial University of Newfoundland.

 
Harold Chorney is Professor of Public Policy at Concordia University in Montréal. He is the author of City of Dreams; Toward a Humanist Political Economy; (with Phillip Hansen) The Deficit and Debt management: An Alternative to Monetarism; and The Deficit Papers. He is also a frequent commentator on policy matters in the media.

 
Darren Ferry recently completed his PhD in History at McMaster University. His dissertation examined the multifaceted roles of central Canadian voluntary associations in the 19th century.

 
Alvin Finkel is Professor of History, Athabasca University, and English-language book review editor for Labour/Le Travail. His latest book is entitled History of Canadian Social Policy, forthcoming from Wilfrid Laurier University Press.

 
Catherine Gidney currently holds a Hannah postdoctoral fellowship in the history of medicine at the University of Waterloo. She is the author of the forthcoming book, A Long Eclipse: The Liberal Protestant Establishment and the Canadian University, 1920–70, McGill-Queen's University Press, 2005.

 
John-Henry Harter has taught Canadian History at Douglas College and Labour Studies at Simon Fraser University. He has been active in both the labour and environmental movements, and is currently a PhD candidate at SFU.

 
Michael Lonardo is Social Sciences Librarian in the Queen Elizabeth II Library, Memorial University of Newfoundland.

 
John Munro is a graduate student in the history department at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he works with Nelson Lichtenstein. In 2003 he completed an MA in history from Simon Fraser University.

 
Bryan D. Palmer currently holds a Canada Reseach Chair in the Canadian Studies Program at Trent University and is the editor of Labour/Le Travail. His James P. Cannon and the Origins of the American Revolutionary Left will appear with University of Illinois Press in 2005.

 
Robert C.H. Sweeny, responsable des titres français de notre bibliographie, enseigne l'histoire québécoise à l'Université Memorial.

 
Mark Thomas is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at York University. His doctoral research examined the regulation of employment standards through the Ontario Employment Standards Act. His current research examines the political economy of working time in contemporary labour markets.
