John Clarke is an anti-poverty activist who has worked for a number of years with the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty.

The late Norman N. Feltes was a retired professor of English, York University, and, at the time of his death, an activist in the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty.

Jacques Hamel est professeur titulaire au département de sociologie de l’Université de Montréal. Il est également professeur associé à l’Observatoire Jeunes et société placé sous l’égide d’INRS – culture et société. Auteur de nombreux ouvrages et articles sur les thèmes de la jeunesse, du travail et de l’économie, il conduit actuellement une enquête sur l’insertion professionnelle et sociale des diplômés dans une perspective longitudinale. En collaboration avec d’autres chercheurs de l’Observatoire Jeunes et société, il vient de publier deux ouvrages : Être jeune en l’an 2000 (Éditions de l’IQRC) et Vivre la citoyenneté. Identité, appartenance et participation (Liber).

Jack Little is a professor of History at Simon Fraser University who is currently writing a book on religion and society in the Eastern Townships during the early 19th century.

Michael Lonardo is Social Sciences Librarian in the Queen Elizabeth II Library, Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Meg Luxton is a Professor of Women’s Studies and Social Science at York University, Toronto. Her research focuses on women’s paid and unpaid work and on the contemporary women’s movement.

Charles R. Menzies is an assistant professor of anthropology in the department of Anthropology and Sociology at UBC. He has written and published papers concerning conflicts between Euro-Canadians and First Nations in the context of land claims, on issues of resource allocation, and alliances between First Nations and the green movement.

Michel Rioux est journaliste à la CSN. Il fut collaborateur et ami de Marcel Pepin durant 30 ans.

Robert C.H. Sweeny, responsable des titres français de notre bibliographie, enseigne l’histoire québécoise à l’Université Memorial.

Jeff Webb teaches history at Memorial University and has published in the fields of cultural and political history. He is the great-grandson of Arthur Webb’s older brother, Harry.

James Wishart is a PhD. candidate in history at Queen’s University. His thesis research explores social relations in Canadian hospital health care prior to the advent of third-party payment.
