The Association, its history and current programs, was featured in the July, 1979, issue of Lincoln Lore. Our thanks to the Lincoln National Life Insurance Company of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and to Editor Mark E. Neely, Jr., of the Louis A. Warren Lincoln Library and Museum for their generous work on our behalf.

Leland B. Adams of Peoria is the author of "George Grey Barnard, Sculptor of Lincoln." The article appeared in the Spring, 1979, issue of Lincoln Herald, published by Lincoln Memorial University.

George Craig of Elmhurst, New York, is chairman of the Barondess/Lincoln Award Committee of the Civil War Round Table of New York. He is also treasurer of the Lincoln Group of New York and member of the Lincoln Fellowship of Wisconsin and the Lincoln Group of Boston.

Thomas J. This year he presented the Second Annual Lincoln Home Project Humanities Scholarship to a student at the College.

Arnold Gates of Garden City, New York, is a contributing editor of Civil War Times Illustrated, in which "The Gates Report: The Civil War Today" is a regular feature. He is also a member of the executive board of the newly established Abraham Lincoln Group of Greater New York.

Carrol C. Hall has been associated with several Springfield activities honoring the Sixteenth President. As a member of the city's Historical Sites Commission, he gave special attention to the development of the Lincoln Home Area; he also served as a consultant for "Sound and Light at the Old State Capitol."

Robert P. Howard of Springfield is continuing research on Illinois chief executives. He is currently working on the life of William H. Bissell, first Republican governor of the state. Howard spoke on Bissell's administration to the Sangamon County Historical Society and the Lombard Historical Society.
