JOURNAL OF AMERICAN ETHNIC HISTORY


The focus of the Journal of American Ethnic History is the history of immigration, ethnicity, and race throughout North America. Scholars are invited to submit manuscripts on the process of migration (including the old world experience as it relates to migration and group life), adjustment and assimilation, group relations, mobility, politics, culture, group identity or other topics that illuminate the North American immigrant, ethnic, and racial experience.

Manuscript (to 35 pages in total length) should be in quadruplicate (single-sided, with text and notes double-spaced and notes and tables on separate sheets). Follow the Chicago Manual of Style, 15th ed. (University of Chicago Press), and provide diskette or CD in MS Word 2003 (or earlier version) format for Windows (no electronic submissions). Since manuscripts are sent out anonymously for evaluation, the author's name and affiliation should appear only on a separate cover sheet. Please also include separate attachment with brief biographical note including academic affiliation, if any, and major publications. Please address all manuscript submissions to John J.
