From the Editor
In this issue, two new sections of Health and History are inaugurated: Reflections, Memories and Sources, and Exhibition Reviews. I expect that they will enrich the contents of our journal by providing new perspectives and approaches to the history of medicine.

The section entitled Reflections, Memories and Sources will feature short essays on topics that are relevant to the history of medicine in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region that would not normally be covered in articles in the history of medicine. They aim to provide accounts of medical history from a more personal perspective. They are also written in a more literary style.

| Many individuals gain information on the history of health and medicine through exhibitions that are designed to highlight medical topics. Exhibition Reviews aims to bring overviews and reviews of such exhibits to the readers of Health and History. Most readers of Health and History visit such exhibits regularly and some of us are involved in designing them. Exhibition Reviews will feature instructive and interesting examples of exhibitions in the history of medicine. Louella McCarthy and Megan Hicks are the editors of this part of the journal. Under their expert hands, we can be assured that the most significant and most interesting exhibitions will be covered. |
