M'Closkey, longtime weaver and adjunct assistant professor of sociology and anthropology at Ontario's University of Windsor, sets out to deconstruct Navajo weaving, provide information about how tribal weavers perceive their work, and critique the art world inhabited by numerous dealers, collectors, and curators. |
