| Robert V. Remini is one of this country's most distinguished historians, having published twenty-four books and won the National Book Award. This is the most comprehensive history of the U.S. House of Representatives thus far, and it nicely places the House of Representatives within the grand context of American history. But it is marred by questionable interpretations and not a few errors. |
