The BOORER T. WASHINGTON Papers Mr. Cable's views are all right when dealing with gentlemen, but not scoundrels, whose purposes are wholly known. Some of our friends of the colored press have taken for granted that those connected with the Niagara Movement are honest and from that point of view have discussed the declarations, which makes it a rather puzzling condition to deal with, but in the end, I am sure they will find out their ultimate purpose.
