Mr. Thompson was paid $50.00 and given an acceptance due in 30 days. While Messrs Howard and Dr Drakeford will not make any noise they want their money badly, the amt. we promised to pay at certain times. I have seen them today. I shall go to Montgomery tomorrow. I asked Mr. Logan about paying Messrs Drakeford, Howard and The Mill Just before writing and he said there were plenty of other bill to pay besides them. Also he said he had to pay the teachers so I did not get any satisfaction about town bills. ~ dont know why he does not pay them something with out waiting for them to begin to talk.
