Accordingly it seemed best not to write to the Commission, but to write to the Attorney General requesting that immediate steps be taken by the Department of Justice for the purpose of enforcing the order. ~ enclose a copy of my communication to the Attorney General. ~ have adopted substantially the changes you suggested, except that ~ did not add the paragraph about freight and human beings, because ~ thought it would look a little bit ad captandum; and there was also one sentence where ~ think you confused my allusion to the Federal law with your allusion to the State law. ~ was delighted that we were able to appoint Williams.
