The page presentation framework of the Booker T. Washington papers is designed to provide researchers worldwide with searchable access to the thousands of pages comprising the fourteen volumes, most of which are out of print. Adapted from the National Academy Press's Open Book framework, this framework allows searching down to the page level, provides sorting of search results chronologically, enables easy navigation across multiple volumes, and allows page-by-page local printing (via PDF) of every page.

She ~ giving both of these. ~ thought you would like to know this, because it means quite an item. You remember some years ago Mrs. Rosenwald said she would give the Domestic Science division, One thousand ($~ooo.oo) dollars; she afterwards changed and said that she would give us what we needed, or that we could order what we needed from Sears, Roebuck and Co. imagine that it was quite a good deal less than One thousand ($~ooo.ooj dollars, but we got a great many things that we needed.
