The page presentation framework of the Booker T. Washington papers is designed to provide researchers worldwide with searchable access to the thousands of pages comprising the fourteen volumes, most of which are out of print. Adapted from the National Academy Press's Open Book framework, this framework allows searching down to the page level, provides sorting of search results chronologically, enables easy navigation across multiple volumes, and allows page-by-page local printing (via PDF) of every page.

The BOOKER T. WASHINGTON Papers of your representative, Mr. Frank P. Chisholm, upon his arrival here. He doubtless has written you last night in regards to our agreeable meeting. ~ find in Mr. Chisholm a most interesting gentleman and a well qualified representative. I asked Mr. Ch~sholm for your exact height and weight and he gave the same as about five foot six inches and about ~60 pounds, this being his opinion. Will you kindly ask your secretary to drop me a line as soon as possible, giving me accurately these two points, for reasons which ~ have previously mentioned. ~ trust that ~ shall meet with Mr. Chisholm again before he leaves here and looking forward to seeing you in a few days, ~ am, Very truly, S. B. Capp TLS Con. 497 BTW Papers DLC. ~E. J. Scott telegraphed Capp that ChishoIm's estimate was approximately correct.
