Book Reviews

Under the rules established by the board of editors, the AHR normally commissions reviews by scholars who have published at least one original monograph. Only in unusual cases, fields in which articles are as important as books, are we able to make exceptions. If you meet the usual qualifications and would like to be added to our list of potential reviewers, fill out all the fields of the form below.

Unsolicited book reviews are not accepted.

List only your most recent or important publications (books and articles), and include their dates of publication, publisher, and pages. Be precise when noting the fields in which you are interested in reviewing. If you wish to review books written in foreign languages, list the languages in which you are competent. Indicate whether you have been asked to review by the AHR before, and designate your preferred mailing address. Include at least one phone number.
